Nicholas Martino

Nicolas Martino is an undergraduate student at McMaster University, beginning his fourth year of Health Sciences. Shortly after entering university, he learned about the realities of the factory farming industry. His initial perception of animals being raised happily on the farm was replaced by horrific imagery of battery cages, gas chambers, and gestation crates. During this time, he also became familiar with the relevant connection between animal agriculture and the health of our planet. Over the past school year, he had the opportunity to work with Reimagine Agriculture as a volunteer with the goal of supporting sustainable initiatives at McMaster, and is excited to join the team to help support broader university outreach efforts.
